Mohamed was born in Tunis in 1976. He graduating from the Institut de Hautes Etudes Commerciales (IHEC) in 1998, then left for France to get his audiovisual communication degree from the University of Valenciennes,
He directed five shorts: Romantisme, Deaux Comprimes, Matin et Soir (2004) Kif Lokhrin (Silver at Frespaco 2006) Mouja (2008), Loi (2011) and Selma (2013), which was selected for the International Competition of Clermont Ferrand Festival in 2014.
